ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
In May 2016, the Asthma Society of Canada is bringing together researchers, clinicians, patients, policy makers and other stakeholders to examine the complex health, social and economic issues related to Severe Asthma. Severe Asthma impacts the health and well-being of as many as 250,000 Canadians. It reduces the social, financial and health outcomes for people who suffer from this debilitating form of asthma.

Fighting for Breath is intended for individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Past participants have included patients, healthcare professionals, researchers, academics, industry representatives, policymakers, and both health and environment NGO representatives.
The full schedule will be unveiled in the near future. The awards dinner and reception will take place the evening of Friday, May 6th & Saturday, May 7th. The conference will be taking place the week of World Asthma Day.
Registration for the awards reception and dinner costs $150 ($125 Early Bird Rate) Registration fees for the summit are:
- $150 for NGO/Student ($100 Early Bird Rate); and
- $250 for Corporate/Government/Medical Professionals ($200 Early Bird Rate)
No, you can choose to attend either the dinner or the conference, or both. Prices are listed separately for your convenience.
Registration for the Awards Dinner includes a cocktail reception and dinner. Conference Registration includes breakfast, lunch and snacks during scheduled breaks. Coffee, tea and water will be available throughout the event.
Please inform us as to your allergies and dietary restrictions in advance by sending an email to Zhen Liu at firstname.lastname@example.org. Special meals requested less than five days before the conference will be subject to additional fees passed onto us from the venue.
