Dr. Harold Kim, M.D., FRCP(C) Allergist and Clinical Immunologist
Dr. Harold Kim has been practicing as an allergist in Kitchener, Ontario for 17 years. He has an appointment at McMaster as an Assistant Clinical Professor and University of Western Ontario as an Adjunct Professor. He graduated with his MD from UWO and completed Internal Medicine and Allergy training at UWO. His clinical interests include allergic conditions including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergy, atopic dermatitis, drug allergy and sinusitis. Although clinical research has been an interest for Dr. Kim, his current “extra-practice” activities include participating in the Canadian Asthma Guidelines and Canadian Rhinitis
Guidelines and the Canadian Allergen Immunotherapy Guidelines. He is on the editorial board of Allergy and Asthma. He is the president of the Canadian Network of Asthma Care (CNAC). Also, he has lectured across Canada as well as in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Dr. Kim’s major goal in life is to successfully raise his 5 daughters and to shoot at least one round of golf in the 70’s.
